According to Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, Ripple can still grow enormously in value. He even thinks a mega valuation of 1 trillion dollars is possible. During a recent meeting with XRP supporters this week, he outlined an ambitious future vision for his company.
Ripple is targeting a $1 trillion valuation
Garlinghouse believes that sooner or later the crypto sector will produce a trillion-dollar company. During the XRP Community Day, a meeting at X with fans of the digital currency, he said that Ripple is a serious contender to reach that milestone.
“There will be a crypto company with a $1 trillion valuation, I have no doubt about that,” Garlinghouse said. “And if we do everything right together with the XRP ecosystem, Ripple could be that company.”
Over the years, Ripple has grown enormously, not only in size, but also in its vision. The company wants to grow into an all-in-one platform for cross-border payments and institutional crypto solutions. To achieve that goal, Ripple made several more major acquisitions in 2025.
Those acquisitions include Hidden Road for $1.25 billion, GTreasury for $1 billion and Rail for $200 million. This year, however, the focus is less on new acquisitions and more on integrating these companies into the Ripple ecosystem.
“We still have a long way to go,” Garlinghouse admitted. “But the potential is enormous.”
Ripple and XRP are inextricably linked
Garlinghouse’s statements come at a time when his own digital currency XRP is under considerable pressure. Last week, the token fell to a low of around $1.11, a loss of almost 70 percent from its summer peak.
The token has now recovered slightly and the XRP price is around $1.38 at the time of writing.
Garlinghouse once again emphasized that Ripple and XRP are inextricably linked. “XRP is our north star,” he said. “Ripple’s raison d’être revolves around the success of XRP and the ecosystem around it.”
According to the CEO, Ripple continues to build products and services that customers want and want to pay for, all in service of the broader XRP network.

Ripple is currently estimated to be worth $40 billion, according to data from market researcher CBInsights. Ripple is therefore one of the ten most valuable unicorns in the world. A unicorn is a private company that is worth more than $1 billion and is not (yet) listed on the stock exchange.
Ripple is also the only crypto company in this global top 10. The list, created by CBInsights, includes big names. For example, OpenAI tops the rankings with an estimated valuation of $500 billion. SpaceX ($400 billion) and artificial intelligence (AI) startup Anthropic ($350 billion) are also included in the overview.
