A Boeing is evaluating the sale of parts of its spatial divisionincluding the capsule Starlinerwhich has faced a number of technical challenges, as reported by Wall Street Journal. This news comes shortly after the company sold a small defense subsidiary to the Thales group, from France.

A capsule Starlinerdesigned for operations in International Space Station (ISS)has been particularly problematic, with multiple postponements affecting its development.

The capsule’s first manned mission, carried out in June, faced significant problems with the thrusters during the attempted docking with the ISS, raising questions about the reliability of the system.

Due to the problems encountered, the NASA ea Boeing decided to return the ship to Earth without a crew. The two astronauts who were scheduled to return in the capsule remained on the ISS, awaiting return by a subsequent SpaceX mission, scheduled for February.
