Bitcoin course is approaching a record of $ 110,000 – this makes BTC ‘extremely interesting’

Data from Bitcoin Suisse shows that Bitcoin has a Sharpe ratio of 1.72. This is an indicator that corrects the return of an asset for the risk, expressed in volatility.

You could see it as a way to correct for fluctuations: a higher efficiency is beautiful, but only if it is not accompanied by a lot of capriciousness.

Some memecoins provide the most disturbed returns, but the question is whether you are willing to bear the corresponding risk.

The Sharpe ratio corrects the return for that risk, and gives a kind of score that shows how efficient or reliable an asset has generated its return-in relation to volatility. A higher Sharpe ratio means that you have received a relatively high return for the risk that you were running.

In 2025, only gold had a higher Sharpe ratio than Bitcoin, which underlines adults of the digital currency. And the graph below also shows that the Bitcoin course performed very well from different times, to very well compared to other financial assets.

These are things that larger investors look at. If they know that with Bitcoin they get an asset that performs better at specific moments than the rest of the market, or at least shown that in the past, then that can result in a larger portfolio allocation.
