Without that approval, the federal judge cannot assume for now in the highest court. He was appointed by decree by the president himself.

The Supreme Court of Justice rejected this Thursday morning the license request of the federal judge Ariel Lijo. Without that acceptance, the magistrate has to give up his position in federal courts to be able to assume in the highest court. However, the questioned judge does not want to do it because he is not sure that his specifications are approved in the Senate, since he was appointed by Decree (in commission) by President Javier Milei.
