A *multitudinous caravan left this Monday from the town of Uspallata*, as part of an action plan of the *Liberting Deed for Water*. On its route, the caravan will pass through *Potrerillos, Cacheuta, Blanco Encalada and Luján de Cuyo, to arrive in the City of Mendoza on Tuesday morning*, when the senate session begins.

Thousands of Mendoza residents will converge there to reject the San Jorge mining project. As in 2019, actions and mobilizations in defense of water have been taking place for days in almost all departments of the province. The struggle grows from below and in every corner of the province, *thousands take to the streets and roads to show that water is not negotiable.*

Despite the police intimidation prepared by the provincial government, Popular resistance against the San Jorge mining project does not stop growing. Teachers, students, representatives of the environmental assemblies along with combative sectors, health among others, will be present this Tuesday.

The resistance of the people of Mendoza questions the extractivist consensus that Milei (and the governors of the mining provinces) promote at the national level. Hand in hand with the RIGI and other agreements, it seeks to impose an agenda for the delivery of natural common goods, increasing environmental damage on entire populations.
