This Wednesday the country woke up to a huge attack on the working class. Billionaire Madanes Quintanilla announced the closure of the emblematic FATE tire factory and the intention to leave more than 900 workers on the streets.
For their part, the Buenos Aires police militarized the plant, even shooting rubber bullets and delaying the Secretary General of SUTNA, Alejandro Crespo.
The workers began to enter the company, intending to defend their jobs, at the same time that solidarity began to arrive from different parts of the country and leaders and organizations came to the San Fernando plant to support the workers.
