The libertarian management adds another explicit denier and enthusiast of the crimes of the last genocidal dictatorship. This is the businessman Maximiliano Patti who maintains a daily bond with his father, the genocidal Luis Abelardo Patti, convicted of crimes against humanity and who is currently serving house arrest in an exclusive country in Escobar (the same party in which he served as mayor between 1995 and 2003).
Now he will serve as executive director (retroactive from December) of the CNRT, the National Transport Regulation Commission as provided by decree 67/2026 signed by Javier Milei and Luis Caputo, to whom Maximiliano Patti will respond directly.
This right-winger is the main representative of La Libertad Avanza in the district of Escobar thanks to his group “Partido de Unidad Vecinal Escobar”. His political career was promoted from the beginning by his genocidal father, being a candidate from the same space. He was also part of the lists of the former carapintada Juan José Gomez Centurión and the anti-rights Cynthia Hotton, where he contested the elections for the mayor of the district. He was also close to the far-right Olmedo de Salta. He was also close to Miguel Angel Pichetto.
This leafy CV for all kinds of stale lists is complemented by his explicit support for Bukele’s repressive policy and his demand to “support the police when they kill a jet in a confrontation.”
Maximiliano does not question the “legacy” of his father, convicted of murdering Gastón Gonçalvez, for having kidnapped and murdered the former national deputy Diego Muñiz Barreto and for having disappeared two brothers, Luis and Guillermo D’Amico, militants of Escobar’s JP. He also shot in 1983 the Peronist Tendency militants Osvaldo Cambiasso and Eduardo Pereyra Rossi.
In this way, less than 2 months before the 50th anniversary of the coup that gave rise to the last genocidal dictatorship, the libertarian government once again promotes sinister characters of this character.
