The murder of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service) agent in Minneapolis caused a wave of condemnation there and across the United States
This, added to the statements of Donald Trump, his vice president JD Vance and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristy Noem justifying the brutal murder (Vance calling the victim a “deranged leftist” and Noem referring to the event as “domestic terrorism”) only served to increase the anger and hatred of the people.
For all this, protests were held last night in Minneapolis and the rest of Minnesota and also in New York, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Washington DC where protesters demanded justice for Renee Nicole Good and the end of ICE anti-immigration operations and raids throughout the country.
These continued this morning where hundreds gathered in front of the ICE facilities in Minneapolis and clashed with the agents, resisting their repression.
Despite the repression, there is resistance. People are still in the streets, confronting ICE, demanding justice and an end to the repressive and anti-immigrant policies carried out by the Trump government. pic.twitter.com/hMgWuGgXrl
