The Single Union of Argentine Tire Workers (SUTNA) called for a 24-hour strike and demonstrations in front of the Fate and Bridgestone factories. “On the eve of Christmas, a day of struggle for tire workers,” the union announced, in the midst of a wage parity that has been locked in for months.
The strike will take place on the eve of the holidays: from 2 p.m. on December 23 to 2 p.m. on December 24.
Let us remember that in the case of Fate there have been strong protests, which included spontaneous strikes and cuts to AU Panamericana. There is a lot of anger from below because of the attacks they have been suffering for more than a year.
The day will include a call to workers, young people and residents of the area, in a festival in support of the fight with important gangs.

From the Garnet Group, together with the Red List and Fate activists, they have been promoting the fight and coordination with other sectors. In the latest actions, they finally converged with Georgalos workers who face suspensions and other attacks.
From La Granate they call on their colleagues to participate strongly and hold a general assembly to decide on all the steps to follow: for the salary, for the reinstatement of all those fired in the struggle and also against the labor reform.
