During the Meeting, the delegation of Pan y Rosas coming from the City of Corrientes itself, the City and the province of Buenos Aires including the people of La Plata; from Rosario, Tucumán, Bahía Blanca and Neuquén, had an active presence in workshops and exchange spaces. Provincial political leaders and leaders in their unions spoke, such as Natalia Hernández, former councilor of the FIT in La Matanza and teacher member of SUTEBA; Alejandra Arreguez, former candidate for national representative for the FIT in Tucumán and leader of Pan y Rosas; Vanina Mancuso worker and member of the Madygraf Women’s Commission under worker management; Paula Akerfeld, member of the SUTEBA Tigre Board of Directors; Irena Gamboa, leader of Pan y Rosas of Rosario, and María Díaz Reck, leader of Pan y Rosas in La Plata, teacher and congressman of SUTEBA from that city.
They debated in the workshops that were held on Saturday and Sunday, as well as other references such as Ailén Beraldo, member of the Board of Directors of the Buenos Aires teaching union Ademys; Victoria, a retiree who mobilizes on Wednesdays in front of the National Congress; Carla, from the Permanent Assembly for Land and Work of La Plata; Mirna Silva, teacher at Primary School No. 69 of Moreno, PBA, and delegate there, from the Marrón group on the Multicolor list. Young people also played a leading role: Owen Luna, LGTBIQ+ activist and leader of Pan y Rosas; Ilana Yab, representative of the General Secretariat of the Center for Philosophy and Letters Students of the UBA; Bianca Rodríguez, student of Nursing and the Gender Secretariat of the Community Health Student Center of the National University of Lanús, among others.
But not only, dozens and dozens of colleagues spoke, many of whom were participating in a Meeting for the first time. Her interventions resonated with participants who view the Left Front with sympathy, in particular Myriam Bregman as a national reference in the space, but also participants linked to the Peronist bases. In these areas, different attendees commented that they are going through a moment of tensions and questions within their own political spaces, which opened the possibility of finding common points with the proposals that we presented. Several of them approached at the end of the activities to express that they agreed with what was said and that they valued being able to share those concerns in a collective space.
We are going to continue with the debates in each school, in each place of work, study, neighborhood and feminist and LGTBIQ+ assembly where we come across. And also in the streets.
