Gastón Granados, the mayor of Ezeiza, said: “It’s all very confusing, there was a strong explosion in the Spegazzini industrial estate. We are working to put out the fire and then to see what happened.” “We are trying to control it, but we cannot. We cannot rule out or confirm that a plane fell. The Ministry of Health reports that, so far, 8 people have been admitted to the Eurnekian Hospital in Ezeiza as a result of the explosion that occurred tonight.
Of them, 7 have mild symptomswith injuries from blows, wounds and minor cuts, or symptoms compatible with smoke inhalation. All are under observation and receive the corresponding attention.
The eighth person was admitted with an open fracture in one of his arms, for which he will undergo surgery at said establishment.
From the first moments, a health containment operation was established that included 12 provincial mobile phones plus 15 from different municipalities that were integrated into the network of hospitals in the area, waiting for care and referrals that are still operational at the moment.
