Under these slogans, the Left Front and Workers-Unity calls for a large event to be held next Wednesday, October 22, as the closing of the electoral campaign towards the elections on the 26th.
The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. in front of the United States Embassy in the City of Buenos Aires, within the framework of a great national crisis in which the government of Javier Milei is making great strides in handing over the country to the United States, while Donald Trump and his secretary Scott Bessent act by implementing an electoral bailout for the libertarian government that involves nothing more than indebtedness, submission and delivery of the country’s resources, for the benefit of some few. For its part, Fuerza Patria only makes lukewarm “nationalist” demagoguery without even proposing elementary measures of national self-defense such as a break with the IMF, and supports figures like Guillermo Moreno who openly vindicate Trump and Netanyahu.
The closing of the campaign will also be done in the context of the military and CIA aggression against Venezuela and the historic mobilizations and general strikes against the genocide in Gaza in countries such as Italy and Spain. In front of the United States Embassy, a workers’ and internationalist platform will be erected in the face of the crisis that the world is going through.
