Air attacks continue to reach Gaza, killing more than 100 people in more than two days, including many children, while negotiators discuss agreement.

Israel has killed more than 100 Palestinians since Hamas agreed on Friday to release all prisoners as part of the latest US ceasefire plan, with the scheduled truce negotiations to start on Monday in Egypt.

Heavy bombings shook the Gaza Strip over the weekend, with reports reported in residential neighborhoods, refugee camps and help distribution points.

Residents of the city of Gaza also reported the use of explosive barrels launched by remote controlled vehicles, reaching houses in the Al-Jalaa neighborhood and other areas.

The Gaza government’s press office reported that at least 94 people were killed on Saturday and Sunday. At least seven more were killed on Monday morning, according to local media.

The Israeli forces made 131 air and artillery attacks on densely populated areas in the Gaza Strip over the weekend, the press office added.

Since the beginning of genocide in Gaza, Israeli forces have killed at least 67,160 Palestinians, including over 20,000 children. Another 9,500 people are missing and presumably killed, the Gaza government’s press office said.

On Monday, an attack on the Greek Orthodox School-also known as Al-Rum School-in the Al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza, killed and injured several displaced Palestinians, including children.

Also reported were bombings of southwest of Khan Youis, in southern Gaza, near a help distribution center, where civilians gathered to receive assistance.

A Palestinian died of malnutrition on Monday, raising the death toll from Israel’s hunger to at least 460.

Ceasefire negotiations in Cairo

The growing attacks occur despite US President Donald Trump, ordered Israel to “stop Gaza’s bombing” on Friday after Hamas seemed partially agreed with the so-called Peace Plan presented by the White House last week.

The Palestinian group agreed to free all Israeli prisoners under the conditions described in the 20 points proposal, but did not clarify their position on other terms of the plan, including disarmament and proposed involvement of foreign troops in Gaza.

A Hamas delegation led by chief negotiator Khalil Al-Hayya arrived in Egypt on Sunday for more detailed discussions about the plan.

Israeli state radio reported that the head of the Israeli delegation and two US envoy will not participate in Monday’s negotiations in Sharm Elheikh; They should participate on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Israeli military chief Eyal Zamir said on Sunday that there is no ceasefire at the moment, but a “change in the operational situation.”

“Two years ago, we witnessed the hardest event in our history and do not intend to return to the days before October 7, 2023,” said Zamir, referring to the attacks led by Hamas.

“We are changing reality throughout the Middle East on all fronts. We are not containing; we are attacking and destroying the enemy on all fronts.”
