Smotrich says “Business Plan” was introduced to Trump
Asked about Israeli colonization plans in the Gaza Strip after the war, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said there is a “Business Plan” at the US President’s table (USA), Donald Trump, which will bring a lot of profit with the destruction of Palestinian territory civil infrastructure.
“There is a business plan, prepared by the most qualified professionals, which is on President Trump’s table, about how to turn this situation into a real estate gold mine,” said the minister linked to the Ultranationalist Religious Zionism Party (religious Zionism), which is part of the Israeli government coalition.
Known for preaching Israel’s control over all Palestinian territories, Smotrich added that Israel has already performed the phase of demolition of structures.
“Having invested a lot of money in this war, we must share the profits of land marketing in Gaza. The demolition phase, which has always been the first phase of the urban renewal we have done, now it is necessary to build,” added the Israeli minister.
It is estimated that Israel has already destroyed about 90% of Gaza’s infrastructure and displaced almost all of the 2 million Palestinians living in the region.
Due to military actions in Gaza, the government of Tel Aviv has been accused of practicing a genocide by countries, human rights organizations, United Nations reports and groups of scholars about genocide crime. Benjamin Netanyahu’s government denies it.
Already the US President has defended the expulsion of the Palestinians of Gaza and the construction of a kind of “Middle East Riviera”, a kind of tourist coastline.
The proposal is rejected by Palestinian organizations, the Arab states and most countries on the planet.
UN resolutions prohibit the acquisition of territories through war, which is a violation of international law.
