Kremlin reacts calmly to criticism from American leader Donald Trump to his Russian homologist Vladimir Putin, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
“We react quite calmly to this. First, Trump makes quite harsh statements, judging by the sentences he used,” Peskov told Kremlin’s reaction to Trump’s statements about Putin and the hardening of his rhetoric.
Earlier, Trump said “I was not happy with Putin” after their call on July 3. “I don’t think he’s thinking of stopping,” the American leader shared by questioning Moscow’s determination to end the conflict in Ukraine.
CNN released audio recordings of the then future US president telling its donors during the 2024 election campaign, which once threatened to bombard Moscow and warned Chinese leader Xi Jinping that he would also bombard Beijing to determine them to use strength to solve Ukraine and Taiwan issues. The American politician did not specify when or under what circumstances exactly these conversations occurred.
