Since June 29 of last year, in which six macho crimes were committed in 24 hours, such a lethal day in Spain was not known. This Wednesday, five alleged macho murders have been known, whose victims are four women and the son of one of them. If these cases are confirmed, the number of murdered women would have gone from 16 to 20 in just one day, according to the accounting of the Government delegation against gender violence.

The first case was reported early this morning. A man has allegedly murdered his wife and his three -year -old son in the town of Algemesí (València). The man, a 34 -year -old man, has been arrested by the National Police and the Local Police.

In GijĂłn the second case is located, which has been known today but dates back to May. Susana Sierra, 49, was allegedly murdered by a man with whom the victim was supposed to have a romantic relationship and has been arrested. He is currently guarded in police units and will spend tomorrow, Thursday, to court.

The body of the woman, who was in an advanced state of decomposition, was found by the agents of the National Police on her floor of the Contracay street, very close to the Plaza del City Council of GijĂłn, when they went to the home to look for clues about her whereabouts after the family denounced her disappearance last May.

Meanwhile, the judicial authority at the head of the Court of Violence on Women number 2 of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria raised two bodies in a house in Gran Canaria.

The deaths present “ severe indications ” of being linked to a crime of sexist violence. The bodies found correspond to a woman in about 60 years and a man of about 50, as reported from the Communication Office of the Superior Court of Justice.

Finally, in Ruguilla (Guadalajara), a woman’s body has been found in a cave. Although the identity or exact circumstances have not yet been confirmed, the Civil Guard does not rule out that it is another case of macho violence.
