Most international airlines suspended their flights to Israel after Sanaa imposed an air block due to the ethnic cleaning campaign in Gaza

YAF’s Armed Forces (YAF) launched a new attack with Ballistic missiles against Israel on May 9, firing alarms in large areas of the country and interrupting operations at Ben Gurion International Airport.

Yaf spokesman, brigadeiro general Yahaa Saree, confirmed the attack on social networks, stating that “in support of the oppressed Palestinian and his Mujahideen, and in rejection of the crime of genocide perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against our people in the Gaza range, and within the implementation of the air exclusion zone imposed on the Israeli enemy criminal entity”.

Saree also revealed that Yaf launched a separate military operation “aiming at a Vital Israeli enemy target” in Tel Aviv using a Yaffa drone.

According to Israeli media, the missile was shot down by the Long -range Arrow Air Defense System after the US Thaad system failed for the second time this week to intercept an Yemeni projectile.

“On Sunday, an interceptor Thaad missed a hissile hissile fired at Israel, while an interceptor Arrow had a defect, allowing the projectile to reach Ben Gurion airport,” says Times of Israel.

Sanaa’s ongoing military operations in support of the Palestinians in Gaza, along with the imposition of an air block until Israel ceases their ethnic cleaning campaign, caused more than a dozen international airlines to suspend their flights from and to Tel Aviv.

On Friday, the Lufthansa Group of Germany extended the suspension of flights to Israel until May 18. American Airlines, Delta and United also canceled their flights to Israel indefinitely.

Other major airlines that maintain the suspension include Aegean Airlines, Airbaltic, Air Europa, Air France, KLM, British Airways, Iberia Express, Ita Airways, Lot Polish Airlines, Ryanair, Wizz Air and Transavia.

“The operation that targeted the airport [Ben Gurion] He exposed the vulnerability of the Israeli enemy to the Yemeni missiles and revealed the failure of Israeli and American defense systems… From March 15 to May 7, our support operations totaled more than 131, performed with 253 ballistic, cruise, hypersonic and drones missiles, ”said Ansarallah leader Abdul Malik, Malik Al-Houthi, during a speech on Thursday.

He also noted that Sunday’s attack on Israel’s main aviation field occurred despite Tel Aviv’s “four layers of protection”, including the recently implanted US Thaad defense system.

Earlier this week, US President Donald Trump announced the end of the illegal war against Yemen after successfully mediating a ceasefire agreement between Washington and Sanaa. American authorities later confirmed that Israel is not included in the truce.

“Israel will defend yourself alone,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday, while reports continue indicating that his relationship with Trump has deteriorated quickly.
