During the afternoon of this Thursday a strong storm affected several areas of the AMBA. The National Meteorological Service issued a yellow alert, warning of “possible meteorological phenomena with the ability to damage and risk of momentary interruption of daily activities.”

Around 5 pm, the sky covered a black cloud and began a strong storm in some areas of the City of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires Conurbano, leaving some streets flooded in several locations and also affecting the electricity supply to more than 50,000 users. After 7:30 p.m., more than 45 thousand Edesur users without service are still registered, with Florencio Varela, Ezeiza and Almirante Brown as the most affected municipalities.

After the storm, cold days are expected for this Saturday and Sunday with important descents of the temperature, registering minimums that will be around 5 ° C in much of the province of Buenos Aires.
