The AEX race went below 800 points yesterday and is therefore in a very weak period. Perhaps the only good news is that the AEX is not the only stock market index in the world that currently has problems. Practically all stock markets and financial assets on earth are currently going through a very tough period.
Extremely sharp decrease
Based on the graph below, it is clear that the world currently has to deal with a shock. Just like during the COVID-19 Pandemie, the AEX race almost shot straight down in recent weeks.
Something has to happen very quickly if the AEX does not want to end up in a deep intake market. During the COVID-19 Pandemie it was not long before the US central bank (and other large central banks) made the money printer from Stal.
That could still offer salvation, but also stopping the trade war by Donald Trump. We do not have to count on help from central banks, unless the economy is also affected by the import duties of Trump and the counter reactions of other countries.
Gold rate springs up
Today the AEX could recover something after Donald Trump announced a temporary break yesterday in the trade war for countries that did not give any counter -reaction.
Nevertheless, uncertainty continues to dominate the financial markets and we clearly see that in the gold price. Because it has risen considerably in the past period.
Now it is of course the question on what course the Bullrun of Gold will end. For the time being, the circumstances still seem to be in favor of the precious metal. That could change if there is a little more certainty about the global economy.
Unfortunately, this is not yet the case. Thus, waiting for better conditions is, so that the stock markets can also work towards a new bullrun.
