In this socio -environmental report of The daily left We seek the causes and responsibilities for the flood of March 7 in Bahía Blanca.

We toured the most affected neighborhoods, we interviewed specialists, we went to the port and participated with workers in the health post and care. With archive work and exclusive images, this research contrasts the different reflections on the catastrophe and what made it possible.

The climatic crisis, the lack of works and infrastructure and the historical pollution of the petrochemical pole are intertwined to complete a new risk scenario. Now the rain is also a threat.

Political responsibilities emerge and also a possible response: the solidarity that arose from below at the worst time is the strength to continue organized. For a reconstruction that puts social needs in the center.

Realization: Lihuen Antonelli, Javier Brat, Ana Julia and Esteffy Lopre.

We especially appreciate all the neighbors who made this realization possible.
