The Bitcoin (BTC) price rises today for the second day in a row and is now approaching an important resistance. The race has often been chained in recent weeks, so investors are holding their hearts at the moment. Will it work this time or will we fall back to lower levels?
BTC course on its way to $ 98,000
Yesterday the Bitcoin course ended the day with an increase of about 1% and today it seems to want to repeat this trick. Bitcoin has been above $ 97,000 since tonight and the next $ 98,000 stop is now increasingly in sight.
That has proven to be a difficult obstacle in recent weeks. Each time the race here was given a hard tap, and a rapid fall followed. Bitcoin was rejected here last Friday, and on Tuesday we were already more than 5% lower below $ 94,000.
In recent days, this decrease has largely been polished away. But as long as the resistance is not recaptured around $ 98,000, this actually has little value.
If Bitcoin manages to keep up above $ 98,000 again, the visor can be aimed at the psychological number of $ 100,000. It is now almost two weeks since the price was above this level.
With a relapse, the level could offer around $ 95,000 support. If that does not happen, the course will return to $ 90,000 for the umpteenth time.
At the time of writing, the largest crypto coin for $ 97,420 is sold.
Altcoins lifts on Bitcoin’s success
Bitcoin therefore has a great day today, and many altcoins share that thought. Of the big boys, especially XRP attracts a lot of attention with an increase of more than 3%. As you could read this morning, this seems to be due to the recognition of ETF applications by the American Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Coins such as Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL) and Cardano (ADA) also turn green, but do a little less well.
The biggest risers within the top 100 are Story (IP) and Berachain (Bera) with profits of 29% and 19% respectively.
