Robert Kiyosaki, the renowned author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, is known for his bold predictions about the global economy. He often warns of an impending economic crisis and rising inflation. In response, he recommends gold, silver and Bitcoin (BTC) as favorite investments.
According to Kiyosaki, these assets will increase in value, but Bitcoin stands out, he says. He predicts a price of $250,000 before the end of this year, he said via a message on X.
From cautious to optimistic
The prediction is striking, because Kiyosaki previously indicated that he did not want to buy any more Bitcoin once the price rose above $100,000. However, with the current bullish trend, the author seems to have revised his previous position.
One of the reasons for his optimism is speculation about a possible strategic Bitcoin reserve by the US government. Kiyosaki argues that if the United States decides to consider Bitcoin as a national strategic asset, it could have a huge impact on its price. He predicts that in that case the price could even rise above $350,000, which would represent an increase of more than 250% from current levels.
Crucial weeks for Bitcoin
Analyst Benjamin Cowen also emphasizes the importance of the coming period. In a recent video, he argues that Bitcoin is at a crucial crossroads. According to Cowen, the next two weeks will determine whether the bull market continues or whether the price enters a consolidation phase.
He notes that BTC must remain above $90,000 to support further growth. With the coin close to breaking $200,000, Cowen expects we could see similar price action as in January 2024, a period of explosive growth.
