The Chinese technology giant Huawei Technologies announced that it will officially launch its smartphone series Mate 70 this month, intensifying competition in the premium device market with other national brands and Apple.
A Huawei will launch the new line in November. Richard Yu Chengdongpresident of Huawei’s consumer business group, said in a post on Weibo on Monday which is “the Mate most powerful in history.”
The publication did not elaborate on launch details.
The launch of the new smartphones is being closely watched by the industry as it is the successor to the series Mate 60 last year, launched in August 2023 with a surprisingly advanced processor, completely produced in China.
