Seven major Wall Street banks, including JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America, are extremely bullish on one specific asset for the year 2025. The major banks in question see gold moving to new all-time highs, thanks to interest rate cuts, but also investments from central banks.
Investors jumping on gold?
In addition to interest rate cuts and investments by central banks, banks also expect increases for the precious metal as a result of private individuals investing in gold ETFs.
JPMorgan said: “Strong physical demand from China and central banks have supported gold prices over the past two years, but retail investment flows and ETFs remain key to further gains during the coming cycle of Federal Reserve interest rate cuts. bank).”

Goldman ultimately expects a gold price of $2,900 in early 2025 and sees the price rising to $2,973 by the end of the year. Other Wall Street giants see a gold price of $3,000 as a good opportunity.
