A Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) ordered the suspension of the use of communications devices after a series of explosions that affected pagers and radios used by Hezbollah allies in Lebanon.

The decision, as Iranian security sources informed Reuters, came after incidents that resulted in 39 deaths and more than 3,000 injured in the last week.

The IRGC is carrying out a broad inspection operation on all devices, with specific concerns about infiltration by Israeli agents.

The explosions, which hit Hezbollah areas, led to an escalation in security measures, covering communications and strategic facilities, including nuclear and missile complexes in Iran.

These security measures also involve a detailed personnel investigation, examining bank accounts and travel history, looking for potential infiltrators.

Tensions between Iran and Israel have intensified, particularly after conflicts between Israel and the Hamas group, exacerbating a long history of regional rivalry.

The IRGC, which has not used pagers for more than two decades, now relies on encrypted devices, many of which are developed internally. The investigation into the attacks continues, with Iranian technicians analyzing exploded devices to identify those responsible.
