Former President and Republican candidate Donald Trump announced Friday (26) that he will return to Butler, Pennsylvania, to hold a new rally, the date of which has not yet been set. This announcement comes after the attack suffered by Trump on July 13, when he was grazed in the ear by an AR-15 rifle shot while speaking at an election rally in the same city.

Trump took to social media to announce his return: “I will be returning to Butler, Pennsylvania for a grand and beautiful rally honoring the soul of our beloved firefighter hero Corey and those brave patriots wounded two weeks ago. What a day it will be — fight, fight, fight! Stay tuned for more details.”

In his first speech after the attack, given at the Republican National Convention, the former president commented on the incident, stating that he would not be alive if he had “moved his head at the last moment.”
