On Monday 15th, the workers of Acindar Villa Constitución will begin a strike. Since the beginning of the year, Acindar has been laying off contracted and outsourced workers: 300 employees have been left out. Now all workers have been suspended, the employer has stopped the factory on two occasions and has submitted a plan to the Ministry of Labour to lay off 100 plant workers. The impact on the workshops that work directly and indirectly for Acindar is also enormous, with the jobs of thousands of workers at risk.
This Monday, the 15th, workers will begin a strike at the city plant, protesting against layoffs and for a salary increaseA few months ago, a huge workers’ and popular mobilization in Villa Constitución showed that there is strength to fight. We must once again call together all the sectors that accompanied us that day and show the employers our willingness to confront the attack. There is no one left out at Acindar! Everyone in!
