Yogurt pudding

Yogurt pudding is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert. It is made with natural yogurt, eggs, sugar and vanilla essence, mixed and cooked in a water bath until creamy. The pudding is then placed in a mold and refrigerated until it sets.

The yogurt pudding recipe is a healthier option than other puddings as the yogurt provides calcium and other nutrients. 
In addition, yogurt pudding is very easy to prepare and can be served as a simple sweet or garnished with fresh fruit, whipped cream or other ingredients to add flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of natural yogurt

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Directions

  • In a bowl, mix the yogurt, eggs, sugar and vanilla essence until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased and floured mold.
  • Place the mold in a pan of boiling water and cook in a bain-marie for about 1 hour or until the pudding is firm.
  • Remove the mold from the pan and let it cool.
  • Then refrigerate until completely hardened.
  • Serve the pudding chilled, garnished with fresh fruit or whipped cream, if desired.
