Man catches girl who fell from NY building (VIDEO)

A New York bus driver has become a hero after catching a seven-year-old girl who accidentally fell three stories from an apartment building.

The girl had reportedly been dancing on an air conditioning unit when the bus driver spotted her and ran towards the building.

And it's a good job he did, because seconds later the girl fell and Stephen Bernard found himself in the right spot at the right time.

"I just said 'Please, let me catch her, lord, please let me catch her," the bus driver told a local TV station.

While he suffered a torn tendon, it could have been a lot worse, as mobile phone footage of the accident shows.
