Fight in Ukraine parliament sees eggs fly
A fight has broken out in the Ukraine parliament during which food was thrown, a smoke bomb was let off... and the speaker of the house hid under an umbrella.
Politicians were meant to be meeting to ratify a treaty with Russia about it being allowed to keep a navy presence int the Crimean peninsula until 2042.
But heated discussion soon boiled over into violence as politicians against the deal started throwing eggs and tomatoes at opposition.
A smoke bomb was then let off and fists started to fly as speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn hid under an umbrella.
The new treaty was eventually ratified by a margin of 10 votes… like you care, it's nowhere near as interesting as the scuffle is it?
