Kill Bill tops most popular Halloween costumes

275x250.jpgUma Thurman's yellow jumpsuit from Kill Bill is set to be the most popular Halloween costume this year.

The outfit from the Quentin Tarantino movie is the most searched for fancy dress costume, followed by 'Sally' from Nightmare Before Christmas.

Also in the top five most searched for Halloween costumes were the Beatles, Jack Skellington (again from Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas) and the Ninja Turtles.

For less committed trick or treaters - those just opting for a mask rather then a full costume - Batman is the most popular followed by Wolf and the Joker.

Barack Obama masks are the fourth most searched for … begging the question of what mask he will be wearing.
A spokesperson for Twenga.co.uk, which compiled the list said: "This year’s top 5 searches for adult costumes show how popular films and music personalities are influencing choice.

"The canary-yellow motorcycle jumpsuit worn by Uma Thurman in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill is being the favoured costume of choice, still holding the number one position, unchanged from 2008.

"Not a typical Halloween-style character, the Beatles costumes are likely chosen due to the recent popularity and publicity surrounding the band, including the release of digitally remastered versions of all the Beatles albums and the Beatles Rock Band video game."
