Pool ban for man wearing wrong goggles
A man has been banned from his local swimming pool, because bosses said his goggles posed a health and safety risk.
Pensioner Roland Grimm has worn the goggles - which also cover his nose - at the pool for the past 30 years without a problem.
In fact he has also worn them at over 100 swimming pools around the world including ones in Germany, Spain, France and Portugal, (yet somehow I seem to lose mine every-time I go for a dip.)
But now bosses at the North London pool say the goggles do not meet safety standards and because they cover Rolands nose could cause breathing difficulties.
The sixty-something swimmer says the ban is 'messing up his life' because he likes to swim everyday but can't find any suitable goggles which he feels comfortable in.

People are dying daily due to knife crime, and you pathetic morons are banning goggles. I just can't help but wonder what state the country will be in within 5 years. You'll all be banned from going outside because you might get hurt. I don't get where these people think they can get off doing this. If no one agrees with the moronic bans these people come up with, when are you all going to stand up and say 'NO MORE'??? Take your country back before you have nothing left.
I hate reading stories every day about how swimming goggles are making ordinary peoples lives hell.
Hang on, no, that has never happen. It is the yobs carrying knives I am thinking about. We need to focus on the real problems of society NOT HEALTH AND SAFETY.
