One in four Brits admit to beach sex
More than a quarter of British holidaymakers have had sex on the beach, according to a new survey, and they are not talking about the cocktail.
Of 1,000 people questioned by a holiday booking website, 26 per cent admitted to getting amorous by the sea whilst on holiday.
Hopefully the question wasn't slipped in as they were booking their summer break - "Can I take your name, credit card number and have you ever had sex on a beach?"
More than a third, (36 per cent) of under 30s admitted getting sand in all the wrong places, but holiday romance is clearly not just for the young, one in five, (19 per cent) of over 40s have also had sex on the beach.
"People tend to be far more relaxed whilst on holiday and perhaps do things that they would never consider at home," said Andrew Gibson, of DirectHolidayBookings.co.uk - who didn't admit whether he had ever enjoyed a beach romp.
Just five per cent also admitted to being left red-faced after being caught in the act but the holiday boss warned people not to end up like Vince Acors and Michelle Palmer go on trial in Dubai for having sex on a public beach.
If found guilty, the pair could face up to six years imprisonment.
"The consequences of having sex on a public beach are obviously far more serious somewhere like Dubai than they would be in a European country," he added
"You should be aware of local laws and practices whilst on holiday to avoid getting yourself into trouble.
"If you can’t resist alfresco whilst on holiday, then perhaps renting a private holiday home is the best way to avoid getting caught."

I am sick and tired of hearing false stories about Michelle Palmer. EVERYTHING everybody has read is false and I'm getting really fed up reading it all. I live in Dubai and know for a fact it's all false allegations that originally made headline news in the UK based on 'Gossip' and 'Chinese Whispers' that just got more distorted and bits added on to make jucier reading. It's not good and I absolutely hate the fact she is judged by the World based on these false allegations/reports, it's disgusting and sickens me! We all know there's not much news in the summer months but for this false story to make front page it's shocking! Also anybody looked in to why she made front page... little story to do with the Chairman of the company she worked for and ex News International? Apparently guy on the brunch that Vince guys mate works for The Sun too! Gossip is she was stitched up good and proper and the guys are spending the cash... nice! Also it's being questioned if her drink was spiked too. So many facts that nobody knows about but carries on writing false information as she's not spoken out, it's horrifying that people comment on lies. It's just awful behaviour.
