First look at Sharapova's Wimbledon shorts?
Tennis babe Maria Sharapova has disappointed male fans by saying she will wear shorts at Wimbledon - not her usual skimpy skirts.
The 21-year-old Russian kept tight lipped about the outfit only saying they were 'traditional' and 'very simple lines.'
But, today as Wimbledon started, images appeared on the nike.com site of what is expected to be her 2008 Wimbledon wear.
She is seen next to other Nike tennis stars Serena Williams, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal wearing short white shorts and a sleeveless white button-up top.
It will be the first time the 2004 winner of Wimbledon has worn shorts at a Grand Slam, she is more well known for donning tiny skirts and short dresses by her sponsor Nike.
On the Nike site the 'womens sleeveless top' sells for $55 and the 'woven womens tennis shirts' $55.
The leggy Russian goes into the grass court contest as third seed and will undoubtedly be one of the most popular with fans and photographers.
Sharapova will play her first match of the tournament against France's Stéphanie Foretz.
