Fake £1 million bids on entire life auction

A man who was offered £1,067,415 for his 'entire life' after putting it for sale on eBay has been told the bid was a fake.
Ian Usher, from Perth, Australia, is offering his custom-built house, Mazda car, 140mph motorbike, jet-ski and even his job in the online auction after splitting up with his wife.
"My aim is to walk away at the end of the eBay auction with my wallet in one pocket, my passport in the other and go to the airport and jump on the first plane," he said.
But today (Mon) Ian was dealt a cruel blow when eBay informed him a number of the bids made in the past 24 hours had been deleted as they had been made in error or were not deemed genuine.
The top bid dropped from £1milion to just £75,000 - well below the £250,000 valuation.
On the site Ian says: "Upon completion and settlement I will walk out of my home for the last time in just the clothes I am wearing, and carrying only my wallet and passport. Everything else is part of the auction and will be yours if you are the successful bidder."
There are five days left to go on the auction.
