Chris Evans throws out Damien Hirst art

200x190.jpgDJ Chris Evans has admitted he accidentally threw away a piece of artwork by Damien Hirst.

Evans, 42, told listeners to his BBC Radio 2 show the error happened when he was packing his collection of paintings while moving house.

While Hirst's Dot painting was due to be taken to his new home, it is thought to have been put in a box and that it has been delivered to a charity shop.

The print could now be at one of two charity shops, either in Cranleigh or Godalming, Surrey, near the millionaires presenters home.

"This Damien Hirst could be in either of these shops!" Evans said on air.
He also called his odd job-man and asked him on air: "Mark, you remember some pictures going into boxes that went to charity shops?

"Do you remember which shops they went to?"
