Giovanny Gutierrez says he filmed his girlfriend without her knowledge and he said that she was furious when she first found out
But when it was revealed that Gutierrez is a marketing executive from Florida many speculated that it was a stunt.
Now Nintendo have said the video is "absolutely, 100% nothing to do with Nintendo", adding that they did not create it and was not aware of it until it was brought to their attention.

"Gio is a master of e-commerce, having created web portals for scores of businesses," the site adds
The star of the one-minute clip 'Why every guy should buy their girlfriend a Wii Fit.' is 25-year-old Lauren Bernat who works as an account executive at Tinsley Advertising, where her duties include "evaluating the responses to our Internet advertising".
