Picture Special: The 'invisible' satellite dish
Here is the 'invisible' satellite dish ... no really, it is there.Designers created the 'Sqish' - which can be camouflaged to match any wall - as an alternative to the normal dark satellite dish seen on millions of UK homes.
It works by taking a picture of the wall where the Sqish is to be installed and emailing it to the makers, who then supply the TV dish ready-camouflaged.
The dish can receive Sky and Freesat and offers an solution to people who live in areas sensitive to planning restrictions or coastal towns where dishes are prone to rust.
(We are not sure how wise it was to have a picture special on something you are not meant to be able to see, but more pictures follow.)
Phil Millington, of The Satellite Shop, in Tunbridge Wells, Kent said: "The Sqish is a quirky contemporary alternative to a satellite dish."It can be camouflaged to help it blend into its surroundings with the addition of a Bespoke sticker created from a digital photo."
