Woman married to Eiffel Tower

A woman with an odd fetish for objects has 'married' the Eiffel Tower and even changed her name to show her devotion to it.

Erika La Tour Eiffel, 37, who lives in San Francisco wed the French icon in a small ceremony attended by a small group of friends - presumably they spent their honeymoon in Paris.

Erika re-visits the structure for their first wedding aniversary as part of a Five show on Objectum-Sexual women.

The former soldier says she has previously had an infatuation with the bow that helped her to become a world-class archer and says she is fond of the Berlin Wall.

The Woman Who Married the Eiffel Tower is on Five at 10pm on June 4.
