Computer game to help smokers quit

A computer game is to be launched which makers say will help smokers quit the habit.

'Allen Carr's Easy way To Stop Smoking' will be developed for the hand-held Nintendo DS which became popular with older gamers because of titles like 'Brain Training.'

In the game - released in November - players will input details of their smoking habits and a virtual coach will then take them through the process of quitting.

Makers Ubisoft say Carr has already helped over 10 million smokers quit with his book 'Easy way To Stop Smoking.'
