Ferrari don't like stretched Ferrari Limo
Ferrari have contacted a limo company which stretched a 360 Modena and told them not to do the same to any more of their cars.The Italian car giant have also told Dan Cawley, 36, of Manchester to stop calling his 166mph limo a Ferrari and to remove all Ferrari or 360 Modena badges from it.
They say since he cut the car in two and inserted an extra 9.5ft, it is no longer a Ferrari.
But Dan says because he bought the car he can do what he wants with
it and hopes that changing the name from Ferrari Limo to Stretched
Ferrari, will keep the lawyers from his door.
"Ferrari recentley sent use a legal letter asking us to remove All Badges and refraine from stretching any more Ferraris." he said.
"We Kindley refused and stated we will not be bullied by Ferrari we baught the car from ferrari and should be able to do what we want with it.
"Ferrari also claimed the badges should be removed as its no longer a ferrari in there eyes and we should stop calling it a Ferrari Limo . So we have now re-named it the Stretched Ferrari as thats what it is."
