Pint-sized pet pigs are not just for breakfast
A farmer who produces pint-sized pig to sell as pets has been forced to stop taking orders, because he can't keep up with demand.Chris Murray started offering the pet pigs two years ago and has been inundated with requests and thousands of people are currently on the waiting list
Celebrities including Jonathan Ross and Charlotte Church are just some of those who have wanted the unusual pets.
The specially bred animals which are the result of a 14 year programme and only grow to the size of a springer spaniel."You might say these are a pocket sized pig," says Murray from the award winning Pennywell Farm activity centre in Buckfastleigh, Devon.
"We have actually closed the order book. Every pig we sold was as a pet and I always remind people a pig is not just for breakfast."
