McDonald's new uniform chafed nipples
McDonald's were forced to make changes to their new uniforms after female staff complained the shirts were chafing their nipples. The burger giant said the new UK outfits - which include a polo shirt and baseball cap, both in black and mocha - were designed help staff feel good about their work.
But designer Bruce Oldfield has told that during tests one of the shirts was scrapped because of complaints from wearers.
"We found that there was one particular design of shirt which chafed, so we had to get rid of it," said Oldfield whose other clients have included Jemima Khan and Catherine Zeta Jones.
"We didn't want our girls, or our boys indeed, nipples chafed," he added.
