Automated restaurant: no need to leave a tip
A restaurant in Germany has done away with rude waiters and replaced them with an automated serving system.Customers now use a computer screen to order food and drinks with meals then being launched down roller-coaster style tracks from the kitchen to find their way to diners below.
The 's Baggers restaurant in Nuremberg, which also has a fully automated beer garden, say they are able to keep costs low because their are fews staff - also there is no need to leave a tip.
The idea came from local businessman Michael Mack: "I wanted to come up with a complete new restaurant system, one that would be more efficient and more comfortable" he said.
"You don't need the waiters to run to the customers, take the orders, run to the kitchen and back to the guests."
